How do I know which tea towels you actually have in stock? All tea towels offered for sale, and which can be added to your shopping basket, are actually in stock and ready for despatch. Should we be currently out of stock of a particular design you will see an "out of stock" notice and will not be able to add any tea towels in that design to your shopping cart.
How do I make a purchase?
We hope you find our purchasing and 3 stage checkout process easy. Simply browse our shop using our catgory pages, or using our search facility. You will find links to all categories at the top of your screen.
Clicking on an item will take you to the product page where you will see a larger picture, a description and details of how many tea towels of that design we have in stock. Should you decide to purchase make sure that the number in Quantity box is correct and click on the Add to Basket button.
At the next screen you will have the option to amend the number of tea towels ordered, remove a tea towel from your basket should you wish, return to the shop to purchase more tea towels. You will be able to see how much your P&P charge will be at this stage.
At the first stage of our Checkout process you will be asked to provide your billing and delivery details - please take care to select the correct Country details for delivery. Above the product(s) you will see a progress bar which changes as you proceed through out checkout procedure. Once you are happy with the billing and delivery details select Continue.
The second stage of our Checkout gives you the opportunity to select your postage option (based on the Country details you selected on the previous screen), you have the opportunity to add a note for us in the Message Box, and should you have a discount code this should be entered in the appropriate box.
The third stage of Checkout is where you select your payment option. Clicking on "Pay now with Sage Pay" will take you to secure (https://) encryped pages for you to complete your purchase.
You will receive an email confirmation of your order which will be sent to the email address you provided during the checkout process. We will send you an email when we have posted your tea towels, however please do contact us if you have any queries in the meantime.
How quickly will you post my tea towels?
We aim to post your order within 2 working days of receiving your payment (Monday to Friday excluding UK Bank Holidays), however we are often able to post the same or next working day.
How accurate are the colours of the tea towels on your website?
We use images supplied by Ulster Weavers themselves - but you may see a slight variation in colour due to the way your computer screen is set up. If you have any queries concerning the colour(s) on a particular tea towel please contact us.
Do you post to BFPO (British Forces personnel)? Yes, we do post to BFPO addresses via HM Forces Airmail - if you select your overseas country you will have the option to choose the BFPO postal option as you proceed through checkout. Please ensure that you provide us with the following information so that we can address your parcel correctly: Service No Rank Name, Unit/Regt, Operation Name (If applicable), BFPO No . I live outside of the UK - how can I pay you?
Our secure on-line payment facility enables you to pay us using your credit card (Mastercard / Visa / American Express).
I live in the UK - what are my payment options?
You can pay us using Mastercard / Visa / American Express / cheque / postal order. If you would prefer to telephone us with your card details please let us know and we will arrange a mutually convenient time for you to call us.
How do I care for linen tea towels?
You will find details of linen care on our Linen Care page My PC/screen froze during the checkout process - have you received my order? If you do not receive our automated confirmation of order email this means that your order has not been successful.
For security reasons our payment processor will shut down an internet link during the payment process if links are very slow or the the link fails. Do contact us if you continue to have problems, or would like to check if you order has been received - but please do check your "Spam" folder for our emails first.
My parcel has not arrived - what do I do?
Should your package not arrive please do let us know. Royal Mail do not consider a package lost in the post until 15 working days after the posting date. After this time we will will replace (wherever possible) or refund the purchase price including P&P. We will also make a claim with Royal Mail for non-delivery of the item(s) and Royal Mail may contact you for confirmation of non-delivery during the claims process.
My parcel has arrived but the contents are damaged - what do I do?
We take care when packing your tea towels, but should they be damaged while in the postal system please let us know. It is important that you keep ALL the packing materials with the tea towels - if you are able to take a digital photograph of the damage this will help. We will make a claim against Royal Mail and liaise with you regarding the return of the damaged goods. We will, of course, replace the damaged tea towel(s) (wherever possible) or refund their purchase price including P&P.
